Deep dish pizza is made in a specialized deep iron pan after which it got its name. It gives the pizza that deep golden crunchy crust it is famous for.
The crust is first topped with the finest Italian mozzarella among other ingredients, then covered with a special homemade tomato sauce.
Tomato sauce is spread on top in order to help ingredients cook slowly, keep their full taste, and most importantly to not get burnt.
Baked, crispy and fresh, the deep dish pizza is ready to be served.
