Restaurant Manager (Japes Windsor)

Japes is opening at Windsor Royal Station and we’re looking for an energetic, hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead our brand-new team.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys being on the floor, developing people and making sure every shift runs smoothly. You’ll be responsible for building a strong team culture while delivering the food quality, service and atmosphere Japes is known for.

Your Role

As Restaurant Manager at Japes, you will:

  • Lead the restaurant team and take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site
  • Deliver consistently great customer experiences and maintain Japes’ service standards
  • Recruit, train, motivate and develop team members
  • Lead from the front and support the team during busy services
  • Create rotas and manage staffing levels in line with expected sales
  • Monitor labour, food costs, wastage and other key restaurant performance indicators
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness and presentation
  • Ensure food safety, health & safety and company procedures are followed
  • Manage stock levels, ordering and deliveries
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally
  • Work closely with Japes’ wider management team to continuously improve the restaurant
  • Help drive sales and build a loyal local customer base
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous restaurant, hospitality or retail management experience
  • A confident, positive and hands-on leadership style
  • Strong communication and people-management skills
  • Ability to organise a busy restaurant and stay calm under pressure
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of labour, stock and cost control
  • High standards when it comes to food, service and cleanliness
  • A team-first attitude and willingness to jump into any part of the restaurant when needed
  • Reliability, ownership and attention to detail
  • Evening and weekend availability
Experience managing a restaurant is preferred, but we’re equally interested in ambitious Assistant Managers or Supervisors who are ready to take the next step.

Your Role

As a Bartender at Japes Pizza, you will:

  • Mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to our high standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring every guest has a memorable experience.
  • Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked.
  • Work closely with the team to maintain a positive and efficient atmosphere.
  • Suggest and upsell drinks to enhance the customer experience.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Bartender is preferred but not essential – a great attitude is what matters most!
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a smile.
  • A passion for cocktails, craft beers, and excellent customer service.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
